EIS Technology & Extensibility
Software as Services (SOS) Plug-in Architecture:
- Once size does not fit all
- Services now, IT overhead never
- Modern software – the functions that you need, when you need them
Module Development – Enelytics has adopted Eclipse runtime technologies as the basis for EIS, the Rich Ajax Platform in particular. These technologies were designed from the ground up to be pluggable as they originated from a series of successful projects at IBM, became open source in 2001, and are directly supported world-wide by many corporate entities including IBM, Oracle, SAP, NEC, HP, Google, Adobe, Nokia, Cisco, Motorola, and Blackberry.
Examples of EIS Modules in use now:
The EIS core (i.e., organize data, verify invoices, analyze costs) entails a complete representation of tariffs, supply rates, and account structures, as well as the accumulation of historical energy data. Once this foundation is established, there are numerous directions in which additional value-added projects may be pursued. Rather than try to anticipate these for all potential users, our approach is to collaborate with clients to assemble an appropriate feature set for each client that has requirements beyond the core.
